Warranty
Mec-Gar USA guarantees that Mec-Gar branded aftermarket magazines listed on Mec-Gar USA’s retail price list and website are made from the highest quality materials and workmanship which are strictly inspected before shipping. These magazines have a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects.
This warranty covers only defects in original components which arise from normal use within listed firearms and does not apply if the product has been subjected to negligence, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, overload, or has been repaired or altered without the prior written consent of Mec-Gar USA. Normal wear parts are not included in this warranty.
Mec-Gar USA & Mec-Gar SRL assumes no responsibility for product malfunction or for physical injury or property damage resulting in whole or in part from criminal or negligent use of the product, improper or careless handling, unauthorized modification, use of defective or improper hand loaded, reloaded or remanufactured ammunition or customer abuse, neglect or misuse. Damage due to use of high velocity, high pressure, reloaded or other nonstandard ammunition, or any unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, abuse or alteration of the product is not covered and shall also null and void this limited lifetime warranty.
Magazines made for firearm and other manufacturers as Original Equipment Manufacture(OEM) products are not covered under this warranty, cannot be repaired or replaced by Mec-Gar USA, and may be covered under a warranty provided by the OEM firearm manufacturer, OEM importer, or OEM customer.
To set up a RMA for warranty service contact our customer service department at mags@mec-gar.com to set up a RMA for an exchange or repair at Mec-Gar USA’s discretion. Please include a brief description of your issue, your name, address, phone number, product SKU’s, and invoice number if applicable. All returned items are subject to inspection and condition determination by Mec-Gar USA. Unauthorized returns, or returns without a RMA number on them will be returned unopened.
Returns
Unused products purchased directly from Mec-Gar USA may be returned within 30 days of purchase for refund of the product price and applicable sales tax, except for parts which are not returnable. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Products showing signs of use or wear will be returned to the customer and not eligible for a refund. Contact our customer service department at mags@mec-gar.com to set up a RMA. Please include a brief description of your issue, your name, address, phone number, product SKU’s, and invoice number if applicable.
Used and malfunctioning products fall under Mec-Gar USA’s warranty/repair policy. All returned items are subject to inspection and condition determination by Mec-Gar USA.
Product not purchased directly from Mec-Gar USA must be returned to the point of purchase with any requirements they have for returning unaltered product. Unauthorized returns, or returns without a RMA number on them will be returned unopened. All custom work and/or products by Mec-Gar USA or Mec-Gar SRL is considered a final sale.
Mec-Gar USA does not warranty OEM firearm magazines or parts.
All decisions and remedies offered by Mec-Gar USA are considered final.
Restrictions
Please check all local and state laws concerning legal ownership of firearm magazines before ordering. Mec-Gar can not ship the following:Effective 10/1/13: Connecticut residents must provide a copy of their pistol permit, ammunition eligibility certificate or long-gun eligibility certificate which matches the shipping address.
Payment
For credit card payment we accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All orders prepaid by check or money order will not ship until cleared. Connecticut residents please add 6.35% sales tax.Shipping
Magazines are delivered by USPS (United States Postal Service) for a flat $9.00 shipping charge. Parts are delivered for a flat $3.95 shipping charge.
